Baby and I are Back! (FINALLY)

Well my lovely devoted readers, in the last month baby and I have traveled the country, danced among our beautiful people, and made unforgettable memories with my family.  First off, XWEI!  I am tired.  More so, however, I am filled with a great deal of love and happiness :)

I will start with updating everyone, and then finish off the blogs I haven't gotten around to just yet :)

This week, I am six months along.
Baby is nearing 2 pounds in weight and is hardly ever still these days.
This time, the ultrasound tech. told us that baby looks like a little girl but I'm still pretty skeptical.

This is us as of last week.  The bump grows steadily, and Barbara steadily loses her battle.
What I'm finding is that some of my clothes make me look about 8 months pregnant as opposed to 6 months.  For instance:

These photos were taken just one day apart.  I can tell you for certain that the baby didn't double in size over night.  I really love that dress and will not stop wearing it and will walk around subconsciously thinking about how I look like I'm giving birth to a two-year-old...  Hmph :)  Oh well.

In three months time, baby will make her debut.  Or his...
Yes, I still think baby will come out a boy and I think it is because of a story that I've been told a few times, and then again even more when Austin and I found out we were expecting.
Every time I say "her", the story of Austin's sister replays in my head.  She was told she was having a girl, got ready for a girl, had a baby shower for a girl, and then birthed a beautiful, bouncing baby boy :)  In my head, I am convinced that the same will happen to us.  That makes getting ready for the baby a trying task.  "Gender neutral" isn't a choice at stores, especially here in Juneau.  It is either "boy" or "girl".  I personally think that with it being the 21st Century, we should have moved forward with this by now.  While the task has proven difficult for us (I even broke down and purchased a few "girl" items, myself), the task for my 3-year old niece is CAKE.  She picked this little outfit out for her baby cousin, because she knows our clan crests :)
It is the cutest little outfit I've ever seen :)  For her young age, she has great style and I know she gets that from me :)

Anyhow.

Baby and I are back.  We can't believe 6 months has already gone by, and how quickly the next three months are creeping up on us.  We are trying to get ready mentally, physically...but just how do you do that?! :)

More blogs are coming.  Thank you for your patience (it's hard to find time with job transitioning, school, and no internet at home haha)

Cheers, everyone!  Round of chocolate milk for everyone! :)
